CHAPTER FOUR: WAR AND PEACE

Now we come to the most important chapter of this book. We will discuss many options for your consideration. Please understand that this book does not advocate any particular strategies or give any advice - legal, tax, investment or otherwise. These ideas are presented only to stimulate your thinking. You are the best judge of what makes sense for you and your family and you will undoubtedly think of other techniques suited to your particular situation.

It has been wisely said that the Four G's of survival are God, Guns, Gold and Groceries, which sums it up pretty well. Certainly these are the basics and we'll take a look at quite a few other possibilities as well.

These ideas are a sampling of the thoughts of many writers. Some techniques are very passive; others involve force and violence. Some focus on political issues, some on financial matters, others on basic survival. Hopefully this book will help you formulate an overall game plan which makes sense for you.

Spiritual Faith

In my view, a strong personal belief in God and obedience to His laws are by far the most important part of surviving the hard times ahead and into eternity.

Morality

To win the battle against the globalists, it is essential that we maintain the high moral ground at all times, rather than sink to their level of evil, sinfulness, corruption and apostasy. After all, we are the servants of the living God and they are the servants of Satan, so it behooves us to act accordingly.

You are well aware of your Judeo-Christian ethical heritage, the Bible, the Ten Commandments, The Golden Rule and all of the other guides to a moral life. If your Bible has gotten a bit dusty, this would be a good time to dust it off and get into it.

Educating Ourselves

This is Truth or Consequences time but it is no longer a game. If we don't learn the truth, we will suffer the consequences. Knowledge is power.

The primary purpose of this book is to give you an overview of what I have learned so far about the New World Order and to suggest information sources written by others who have studied this subject longer and in greater depth than I have. Much can be learned from these resources.

Since the controlled news media doesn't give us all of the facts, subscribing to one or more of the periodicals listed in this book is essential to learning the truth. Events are unfolding so rapidly that they are difficult to keep up with. It is as if we are swirling around in a gigantic whirlpool, accelerating as we get nearer to going down the drain.

Regarding formal education of our children, it is clear to nearly everyone that the government (public) school system is a disaster. Children are not being properly educated. Instead, they are being indoctrinated with John Dewey's atheistic moral relativism. This, as we have seen, is no accident. It is a major element of the globalist conspiracy, going back at least to the Communist Manifesto of 1848.

You can learn a lot by joining various patriot organizations and attending their meetings. Many of these are small, local groups. Many short wave radio stations and some A.M. and F.M. stations also carry patriot programming.

You can accumulate your own reference library of books, videotapes, audiotapes, newspaper and magazine article clippings and so forth, and exchange it with others.

Educating Others

When it comes to educating others about the New World Order, we encounter a number of difficulties. For one thing, if a person has no prior knowledge of this subject and knows only what has been taught in the government schools and disseminated by the controlled news media, he would be inclined to reject contrary information - even though it is true - because it does not fit with his perception of reality. We have all been brainwashed but many people don't realize this fact.

Another problem is that no one likes to admit that they have been deceived. Related to this is the fact that most of us are proud to be Americans, we trust and support our government and we obey the law. It is difficult to conceive that our government has been so extensively infiltrated by subversive elements and become such a flagrant law-breaker itself. This leads to comments such as ``That couldn't happen in America.''

Finally, when the truth is known and the evidence overwhelming, some will say ``I don't want to know about this'' out of fear and terror and will bury their head in the sand like an ostrich, so to speak.

Yet, when you consider that your family and friends could lose their savings, their home, their possessions, their lives and even their eternal soul due to ignorance, can you in good conscience keep silent? I don't think so. What can you do to inform them without alienating them? The answer, I think, is to do what the Fabian socialists have done to us - feed it to them a little at a time and give them time to absorb it before making the next revelation.

Political Philosophies

Trying to describe political philosophies as points on a one- dimensional line, depicted as radical, liberal, moderate, conservative and reactionary as you move from left to right, is not an adequate depiction. It is more meaningful to think in two-dimensional terms, with the relative amount of personal freedom plotted on one axis and the relative amount of economic freedom plotted on the other axis.

A good way to figure out your real political position is to take the World's Smallest Political Quiz, which was developed by Advocates For Self Government, Inc. It asks ten questions to ascertain whether or not you are a believer in self-governance - five on personal issues and five on economic issues. By plotting your scores on their little graph, you can determine what your true political philosophy is. If you believe in self-governance in both the personal and economic areas, you are a libertarian. If you believe in personal freedom but economic control by government, you are a liberal. If you believe in economic freedom but personal control by government, you are a conservative. If you believe in government controls in both the personal and economic areas, you are an authoritarian (statist, socialist, communist, etc.). If you are midway in between on both issues, you are a centrist. Many people who consider themselves to be liberals or conservatives find that they are actually libertarians when they take this little quiz. The more you believe in self-governance, personal responsibility for yourself and limited government, the closer you are to libertarian thinking and the further you are from socialistic views.

Political Parties

The United States has had a two-party political system for most of its existence. Originally it was the Federalists (big government) competing with the Anti-Federalists (small government). Today it is the Democrats competing with the Republicans and a group of small third parties.

Many observers have noted that for all the political rhetoric, both major parties pursue pretty much the same objectives. They could be called Socialist Party A and Socialist Party B. Both incorporate most of the Communist Manifesto into their platforms.

Presidents Bush and Clinton and nearly all of their cabinet members are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, the behind-the-scenes government which is leading us into the New World Order.

Among the other political parties, the largest and most successful is the Libertarian Party. Its central philosophy is that people and businesses should be responsible, self-governing and free, and that government should be limited to protecting citizens from wrongdoers and foreign invaders. It shares many of the philosophies of conservatives and liberals, and is philosophically the opposite of socialism and communism.

Economic and Financial Matters

We have seen that the conspirators are planning a major depression in the near future. Knowing this, you can make smart moves now while there is still time. As a result, you can not only avert disaster but even profit handsomely in the process. Here are some suggestions.

In my opinion, it is of primary importance to get out of debt as much and as fast as you can, even if you have to sell some assets to do so.

Another effective technique is to make as many purchases as possible by using cash. You will find that you spend less this way and Big Brother can't trace the purchases like he can when you use checks or credit cards.

You could consider reducing your balances in checking accounts, savings accounts and certificates of deposits. Remember that there will be a lot of bank holidays and bank and Savings and Loan Association failures, so your funds will be either tied up temporarily or lost completely.

Another possibility is to use alternative banking, rather than the Federal Reserve controlled commercial banks. These privates banks operate outside of the globalists' system, and thus offer privacy and security. Some private banks allow your account to be denominated in gold or silver if you wish, which offers additional safety and value appreciation possibilities.

Many financial experts recommend acquiring gold and silver, mostly in the form of coins. They are relatively inexpensive right now and they will increase greatly in value when the financial collapse occurs.

Bonds are declining in value as the Fed keeps increasing interest rates. If you own any bonds, you could consider selling them now before they lose any more value.

Given that the Fed is planning to pull the plug on the stock market, you might be better off to liquidate any stocks you own.

Similarly, mutual funds invested in stocks or bonds have a questionable future in the near term. In general, any paper asset is likely to lose most of its value when the collapse occurs.

Regarding real estate, the collapse will flood the market with foreclosed properties, causing massive market price reductions. You might want to consider selling any rental properties you own. Another possibility is a sale-leaseback of your home.

In addition to gold and silver, other tangible assets will increase rapidly in value when the hard times come. Among these are food, water, clothing, medical supplies, communications equipment, guns, ammunition, gasoline, kerosene, oil, camping equipment, firewood and tools.

On the income and expense side of things, there are many possibilities open to you. For one thing, income taxes and Social Security taxes are optional for most of us. If you elect to get out of the system, you will have a lot of extra income to spend acquiring valuable protective assets.

Your present occupation may or may not be in demand in a wartime setting. If it is not, it would be advisable to start developing marketable skills and alternative sources of income. Ideally, you could start your own business, part time at first, providing a product or service which would be needed no matter how bad things get, such as farming, animal husbandry or some related service. Or it could take the form of providing information services, private banking, military training or any other essential service. Use your imagination.

Barter is already a significant segment of our economy, and will become much more important in the near future. Remember - the mark of the beast must be avoided at all costs.

There are many things which patriots can do to protect themselves from the illegal, unconstitutional outrages of the globalist-controlled federal government and the emerging national police state.

The reason behind the proliferation of unconstitutional laws, regulations, executive orders and Supreme Court decisions is that the globalists want to make nearly every human activity ``illegal'' so that they can enforce the laws selectively against all who oppose the New World Order. Protection of persons and property has nothing to do with it.

Our primary objective is to maintain the United States as a Constitutional Republic and to avoid being dissolved into a global socialistic dictatorship. This requires becoming well-informed about the Constitution and its Bill of Rights and to strenuously oppose the many governmental violations of it.

States Rights

Several state legislatures have passed the State Sovereignty Joint Resolution originated by Colorado State Representative Charles Duke. These resolutions reassert the sovereignty of the states and direct their agent, the federal government, to restrict its activities to the limited powers granted to it by the Constitution. As of this writing, Colorado, Missouri, Hawaii, Illinois and California have sent this resolution to Malfunction Junction, and many other states are preparing to follow suit.

Home Rule

Home rule is a similar concept at the county and municipal level. This movement originated in Catron County, New Mexico, which enacted the entire U.S. Constitution as a county ordinance and is enforcing it against various federal agencies which are illegally attempting to enforce federal regulations outside of the areas of Federal jurisdiction (Washington D.C., the U.S. territories and certain military enclaves). The County Sheriff is the highest ranking law enforcement officer in each county, and the federal agencies have no jurisdiction except as set forth in the Constitution.

No Con-Con

On the other side of the coin, the globalists are promoting a Constitutional Convention (Con Con, or Con Job), ostensibly for the purpose of enacting a balanced budget amendment but actually for the purpose of rewriting the Constitution to give more power to the government and to take away the God-given rights of the citizens. Patriots are opposed to Con Con, as you can imagine.

State Citizenship

There are two classes of citizens in the United States. One is the sovereign citizen who is a citizen of one of the 50 states, who is subject to the common law and who is protected by the state and U.S. Constitutions. The other is the United States or Federal citizen, who is subject to civil law and has no rights other than the civil rights which Congress may grant or withdraw at will.

Many of us have been duped into giving up our sovereignty by means of various ``implied contracts'' with the federal government, thereby becoming federal subjects unwittingly. You have the right to declare yourself to be a sovereign state citizen and to take other actions to free yourself from bondage. The complete process involves revoking your Social Security account, birth certificate, marriage license (this does not dissolve your marriage), drivers license and automobile registrations. This will cause the loss of future Social Security benefits, but the system is likely to go broke anyway. But this frees you from the obligation to pay any portion of the federal debt, avoids income taxes, FICA (Social Security taxes), gift taxes, estate taxes, drivers license fees and auto registration fees. You can still drive your car, because licenses and registrations are required only if a motor vehicle is operated for commercial purposes.

Common Law

The Constitution guarantees our Common Law rights, including the freedom to enter into contracts as we see fit. This body of law is of ancient origin and is one of the benefits which our nation inherited from its beginnings as an English colony. Thus it pre-dates the U.S. Constitution by many centuries.

As we have seen, President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared the United States government bankrupt in 1933 and made the Secretary of the Treasury the receiver in bankruptcy for the international bankers. This, of course, was an unconstitutional act but it lead to the legal theory that we now operate under, the Law Merchant, today called the Uniform Commercial Code, rather than the Constitution. The legal assumption is that all of us have entered into a series of implied contracts with the federal government by which we are supposedly obliged to be subject to all manner of rules and regulations under civil law, rather than common law. However, we can easily rebut this presumption by asserting our common law rights. This can be accomplished by inserting the words ``without prejudice, UCC 1-207'' under our signature on all legal documents and official correspondence. It is advisable to have a rubber stamp with this wording. What it means is that you are retaining your rights under Uniform Commercial Code section 1-207 to disavow any contract or agreement which you did not enter knowingly, voluntarily and intentionally.

Common Law Trusts

Common Law Trusts are a powerful legal device which can be used to increase privacy, shelter assets from lawsuits and creditors, reduce or eliminate several taxes, avoid probate and provide professional management. Your lawyer may not be familiar with common law trusts because they are not taught in law schools due to the fact that they do not support the government system. However, these trusts have been used successfully for centuries, especially by the very wealthy families who are trying to take over the world. You don't have to be rich to use them. They are far superior to the usual testamentary and intervivos trusts.

Jury Rights

Jury Rights are a powerful tool which you can use. As a citizen, you are well aware of your right to vote in political elections but don't overlook your right to vote as a juror - either as a grand juror or a trial juror. From the earliest days of our nation, citizens have had the right to decide on the law of a case, as well as the facts. Jury nullification is the process whereby the supreme powers in our country - the citizens - can refuse to prosecute people accused of violating statutory ``laws'' or regulations which they believe to be oppressive or unconstitutional. This well-established fact is inconvenient to the judges who are more interested in increasing the power of government than in maintaining freedom and justice, so today they tell the jurors that they, the judges, decide on the law and jurors decide only the facts, based on the limited amount of evidence presented for their consideration. Regardless what the district attorney tells grand jurors, the jurors have the absolute right to refuse to vote to indict persons accused of breaking unconstitutional or oppressive laws. In the same manner, trial jurors can vote to acquit for the same reasons.

Support Local Police and Sheriffs

We created government primarily for the purpose of protecting ourselves and our property from foreign invaders and from criminals. In my view, this is the only legitimate function of government. At the local level, our police officers and deputy sheriffs are the individuals to whom this vital task has been entrusted and they often risk their lives to protect us. Clearly they deserve our fullest support and encouragement when they are carrying out their legitimate tasks.

A serious problem is arising, however. As we have seen, the globalists are trying to convert our local police and sheriffs, as well as the National Guard, into a national police force akin to Hitler's SS and SA. The recent crime law created 100,000 police officer positions under federal control. Cadets in the police academy are being taught that their mission is law enforcement, rather than public protection and that it's ``us'' versus ``them'' - police versus the people. Officers are being assigned to Multi Jurisdictional Task Forces in preparation for doing house-to-house search and seizure raids, warrantless arrests and all manner of illegal activities. My friends in the Police Department and the Sheriffs Department tell me that they are not being deceived by all of this globalist propaganda and that they remain loyal to the people.

Retired police officer Jack McLamb and his colleague, Rick Dalton, formed the Citizens and Lawmen Association to help keep our fellow citizens in law enforcement and the National Guard on our side and opposed to the globalists.

Commercial Liens

The commercial lien is a very effective device which you can use to protect your rights from wrongdoing by any government official. This is a common law non-judicial procedure which you can use to place a lien on all the assets of any government official who violates your Constitutional rights. It is a very powerful tool, certain to get their attention.

Bivens Actions

Bivens actions are another legal device for counter-attacking government officials who abuse your rights.

Government Regulations

There are a number of government regulations which penalize unlawful acts by government officials which you can use to your advantage. For example, Section 7214 of the Internal Revenue Code lists a number of offenses by revenue officers or agents which can result in their dismissal, a $10,000 fine and 5 years in prison.

Civil Lawsuits

Government officials can be sued in civil court for injuries or damages which they cause. A recent example is the case of Donald Carson, a respected businessman who resides in Poway, California. A MJTF team, acting solely on unfounded allegations by an unreliable informant that Mr. Carlson was a drug dealer, raided the Carlson's' residence in June 1992 and shot him several times, causing serious injuries. The allegation was totally false. Donald Carlson sued the agencies involved, and won a $2,750,000 settlement in December 1994.

Citizen's Arrest

Every citizen has the legal right to arrest other citizens, including government officials, for committing any crime observed by the citizen. This must be done with great care, however, because if done improperly, it could result in a lawsuit for false arrest.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Parties to a lawsuit can agree to any of several alternatives to formal civil trials in the court system in order to save time and money. Among these are binding arbitration, non-binding arbitration, mediation and mini-trials. In a business setting, it is possible and desirable to incorporate one of these methods into contracts and agreements, thereby determining in advance how any future disputes will be settled.

Drug Decriminalization

Most responsible people agree that drugs are a major social problem in this country and throughout the world today.

Harsh enforcement of the drug laws brings with it all of the problems which alcohol prohibition did in the 1920's and 1930's - smuggling, gangsterism, high prices, questionable quality of product, disrespect for the law, corruption of law enforcement officials, diversion of law enforcement resources from more important activities, overcrowded prisons and jails and so on. As we have seen, our own CIA is a major player in drug smuggling, using the immense profits to fund many of their other illegal covert operations - the ultimate hypocrisy.

The bottom line is that the war on drugs can never be won, particularly when our own government is the worst offender. Gross abuse against our liberties and countless asset seizures have been justified, using the drug war as the excuse. Clearly the price is much too high. Accordingly, I advocate decriminalizing drugs and treating them as a medical problem.

Civil Disobedience

In the last analysis, we are all going to have to decide as individuals just how much illegal tyranny and oppression we will tolerate before we stand up for our God-given rights and liberty. It is impossible to read all the new laws and regulations, much less to obey them all. We must each decide what we accept as the law - the Constitution and the lawful enactments of Congress or the unconstitutional morass of rules which purport to be laws but really are illegal. Where do you draw the line in the sand? How much harassment will you take before you fight back?

Defying the authority of government agents who act under the color of the law is risky, as the good folks in the Branch Davidian Church in Waco found. If we act alone or in small groups, we will be crushed or enslaved. But if we act in large numbers, using passive civil disobedience rather than hostile attacks, the government will be forced to back down. It needs the voluntary support of its citizens to survive.

Resources

Many law libraries are open to the public, especially those which are publicly funded. An enormous amount of valuable information is available to you so you can do your own independent research.

In addition, there are many organizations which support the legal rights of citizens. Many even have attorneys on staff who specialize in this area of the law.

Income Taxes

As your Form 1040 instructions say, the income tax is based on voluntary compliance. You have the option of paying or not paying income tax and Social Security tax, as you choose. A great deal of research has been done on this subject and the basic conclusion is that the whole system is and always has been a fraud. Here are some of the research findings on this subject:

1. The U.S. Constitution does not permit Congress to lay any form of direct tax on individual citizens of the states.

2. The Sixteenth Amendment did not amend the taxing power granted by the original Constitution and it created no new taxing power.

3. The Sixteenth Amendment was never properly ratified, so it was never valid.

4. Earnings from employment are not income but rather are a God-given right which cannot be taxed.

5. Participation in the Social Security System is optional.

6. No one is required to have a Social Security number.

7. Income tax payments go directly to the Federal Reserve System, a private banking cartel and not to the government.

8. The Internal Revenue Service operates on the basis of deception and intimidation rather than law, and acts as the collection agency for the private bankers.

9. More than 10,000,000 people have become aware of this fraud and have stopped filing tax returns and paying income taxes.

Some may feel that it is their patriotic duty to pay income taxes, which is what

the globalists want them to believe. In reality, paying taxes only depletes your resources and encourages governmental waste and illegality. 74% of the Federal government's expenditures are made on items which are not permitted by the Constitution. There are many organizations which provide practical guidance on getting and staying out of the tax system legally.

Privacy

No one wants to have the intimate details of his or her private life known to the general public. The Fourth Amendment is intended to insure that the government does not violate our privacy without due process of law, but it is no longer enforced. When the government persistently violates our most basic freedoms, it loses its legitimacy. It also forces us to take extraordinary measures to protect ourselves. There are many things which can be done to elude Big Brother's ever-increasing surveillance. One of the most effective techniques is going through the state citizenship process, which includes revoking your Social Security number and all licenses, thereby reducing your visibility to government computer systems.

Simply keeping your mouth shut about personal matters is very important if you wish to maintain privacy. Even family, friends and neighbors can turn on you out of spite or when under duress from the government. What they don't know can't hurt you.

Asset Protection

Asset protection is the response to the asset forfeitures which we discussed in Chapter Two, now reportedly occurring at the rate of more than 5,000 illegal seizures a week. It seems incredible that government - which we created to protect ourselves from thieves - is the biggest thief itself, yet that is exactly the true situation. The main excuse is the drug war but any other violation will do as we move into the age of pillage and plunder. The true objective is to enrich the government and impoverish the people.

Residence

In the coming depression and civil war, living in major metropolitan areas will be extremely difficult. Jobs will be scarce, food supplies will be hard to find, and government road blocks will be commonplace. You will be forced to accept the implantable biochip - the Mark of the Beast - just to survive. We have already discussed the penalty for that sin.

Several groups have attempted to purchase land or islands from various developing nations in order to set up new sovereign nations with a freedom orientation. To the best of my knowledge, none of these have been successful as yet.

A more viable alternative seems to be to move to smaller communities within the United States, buying a home on a parcel of land suitable for growing at least your own food requirements or else a commercially viable farm or ranch. The most popular areas for this approach are the Rocky Mountain states and the southeastern United States but any rural area will do.

The most attractive option of all is to form covenant communities for mutual support and defense.

Guns

As mentioned at the beginning of this chapter, guns are one of the four G's of survival - God, Guns, Gold and Groceries.

As we saw in Chapter Two, the globalists' greatest fear is that well-armed American citizens will wake up to the New World Order plans and overwhelm the conspirators. There are known to be more than 200,000,000 guns and more than 70,000,000 gun owners in the United States, and both numbers are increasing rapidly.

Militia Activity

Globalist outrages have awakened the American anger and fighting spirit to levels similar to that of the Revolutionary War era. Militia units are springing up all across the country. The largest concentrations are found in Montana, Michigan and Texas, but units exist in all 50 states.

In the broadest sense of the word, the militia is all of the citizens who are not in the armed forces. I use the term in a more limited sense, namely those individuals who have formed groups which are actively training to defend themselves. No one knows for sure how many individuals fit this limited definition but several sources have estimated the number to be 7,000,000 and growing rapidly.

Communications

Effective communications will be a vital part of basic survival and military victory. The patriot network of facsimile and computer modem communications is already well established, using Internet and various other networks. PCP encryption can be used for sensitive transmissions.

Radio broadcasts of patriot programs are primarily on short wave at present, so a short wave receiver is a good investment. Individuals who are qualified radio operators will be valuable resources when the war breaks out.

For short-range tactical communications, hand-held citizen band transceivers are a valuable tool.

Emergency Survival Packs

It may be necessary to leave your home for short periods in an emergency, such as a natural disaster or a military attack. It is highly desirable to have a 72-hour emergency survival pack fully loaded and ready to throw in your car at a moment's notice. This should be supplemented with camping supplies such as a tent, bedding, cookstove, and food.

Food

Everyone should have a 1-year supply of dried foods readily available for difficult times. In addition, water purification kits are essential. Also, be prepared to grow your own food, using regular seeds, rather than hybrids which cannot reproduce the next generation of seeds.

Health

Since the normal medical facilities might be unavailable to us, we need to plan for alternative medical treatment. Homeopathy and naturopathy are viable alternatives to allopathic medicine. Many medicinal herbs are available. Having some medical equipment, bandages and medicines readily available can be a life-saver.

Transportation

We can't be assured that we will have unimpeded use of public roads and highways due to possible roadblocks, so 4-wheel drive or all-terrain vehicles could be a good investment. Also, gasoline may become difficult to obtain. Think of alternate means of transportation, such as bicycles or horses.

The Patriot Movement

The Patriot Movement is the name commonly used to identify all of the individuals and organizations which seek to preserve the United States of America as a constitutional republic and who oppose the globalist conspirators who are trying to impose their New World Order of global slavery on us. All of the references, periodicals and organizations mentioned in this book relate to some part of the Patriot Movement.
